Dear Participant-Attendee:
You are invited to participate in a project which is studying delayed diagnosis of children with central nervous system (CNS) tumors. One aspect of this project is to assess health provider knowledge about brain tumors. Participation involves completing a brief survey before and after you receive an educational seminar on the topic of pediatric brain tumors.
The objective of the assessment is to examine current knowledge of health care providers on the issue of delayed diagnosis and not to achieve the highest score. We hope that this research will help us to better educate medical professionals in the diagnosis of brain tumors, so please answer the questions according to your knowledge instead of by using test-taking strategies. If you have any questions about the assessment, you may contact me at Ibrahim. Qaddoumi@stjude.org. If you choose to participate, please complete the questionnaire. By submitting the questionnaire you consent to participating in this project.
Participation in knowledge assessment is voluntary, and your responses will be confidential; your email address (if provided) will not be shared. You may skip any questions and may stop the survey at any time.
Thank you in advance for your time.
